Are you looking for the Bat Cave or Martha Stewart's Kitchen?
First time home buyers, here is a quick Tip that is a MUST when purchasing you first home.
Know what you want in a home! Make a list of things you cannot live without and things that would be nice to have. Yes, making a list means writing it down and having it with you when you are searching the Internet for properties or when you are physically at the property. It can even be in check list form.
Some things to think about are:
Do you prefer historic homes or newer homes?
What style home are you looking for?
Home many Bedrooms and Bathrooms?
Is a bathtub important?
One floor or more?
How close is it to your work?
How close is it to shopping?
How large would you like your home to be?
Kitchen: Is it updated? How big is it?
Do do want a garage or basement?
A shed?
How large of a yard?
Pool?
Laundry/utility room?
Fireplace?
Sprinkler system?
Are you close to public transportation?
Etc, Etc, Etc.
So sit down and think your list through, write it out and use it?
Any questions or anything you think is also important to include please let me know.
Thanks and have a great day,
Bob
